These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Saraighat Rentals' website and vehicle rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, making a booking, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must possess a valid driving license applicable for the vehicle category
• You must provide valid government-issued photo identification
• You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while operating rented vehicles

Rental Terms

• Vehicles must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time
• Late returns will incur additional charges at the applicable daily rate
• Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received
• Sub-letting or unauthorized transfer of rented vehicles is strictly prohibited
• Vehicles must only be used within the permitted geographical area
• The renter is responsible for all traffic violations during the rental period

Booking & Payments

• All bookings are subject to vehicle availability
• Full payment or security deposit is required at the time of pickup
• We accept online payments and cash payments
• Prices are inclusive of basic insurance coverage
• Additional charges may apply for extra accessories, helmets, or extended coverage
• A security deposit may be collected and refunded upon satisfactory return

Cancellation Policy

• 24+ hours before pickup: Full refund
• 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
• Less than 12 hours: No refund
• No-show: No refund will be provided

Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

User Responsibilities

• Operate the vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws
• Wear a helmet at all times while riding two-wheelers
• Report any accident, damage, or mechanical issue immediately
• Do not modify, alter, or tamper with the vehicle in any way
• Keep the vehicle secure and locked when not in use
• Bear fuel costs during the rental period

Damages & Liability

• The renter is liable for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period
• In case of theft, the renter must file an FIR and notify us immediately
• Saraighat Rentals is not liable for personal injury, loss of belongings, or indirect damages
• Disputes shall be governed by the laws of Assam, India
