Payment Policy

This Payment Policy outlines pricing, accepted payment methods, security deposit requirements, refund procedures, and other financial terms for vehicle rentals at Saraighat Rentals.

Pricing

• Rental prices are displayed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice
• Prices are calculated on a per-day basis (24-hour cycle from pickup time)
• Discounted rates may apply for weekly or monthly rentals
• Prices include basic vehicle insurance and road tax
• Fuel costs are borne by the renter and are not included in the rental price
• Additional accessories (helmets, locks, phone mounts) may incur extra charges

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Online Payments: UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards via secure payment gateway
• Cash: Accepted at the time of vehicle pickup
• Digital Wallets: PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm

All online transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store your card details.

Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit is required at the time of vehicle pickup
• Deposit amount varies based on the vehicle category and rental duration
• The deposit will be refunded within 24-48 hours after satisfactory vehicle return
• Deductions from the deposit may be made for damages, late returns, or traffic violations

Refund Policy

• Cancellation 24+ hours before pickup: Full refund of advance payment
• Cancellation 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
• Cancellation less than 12 hours before pickup: No refund
• No-show: No refund will be issued
• Early return: No refund for unused days

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method. Cash payments will be refunded in cash or via bank transfer.

Late Return Charges

• Up to 2 hours late: Grace period, no additional charge
• 2-6 hours late: 50% of the daily rental rate
• 6+ hours late: Full additional day charge

Repeated late returns may result in account restrictions. Please contact us if you need to extend your rental period.
